Commercial air travel returns to Barbados and The Crane is designated as the island’s first approved quarantine hotel, hosting travellers opting out of quarantine in government facilities. The Resort is also designated the island’s first satellite testing hotel, offering guests the convenience of on-site, hassle-free COVID-19 testing.

The Crane becomes the island’s first isolation hotel offering guests reassurance that in the unfortunate event of a positive COVID-19 PCR test result during their stay, they may continue their stay until recovery in a luxury suite with a private pool, subject to an assessment and approval by the Ministry of Health.

With Barbados’ travel protocols requiring a COVID-19 PCR test to end hotel quarantine and many countries around the world requiring a COVID-19 antigen test as an entry requirement, The Crane opens its own on-site COVID-19 testing laboratory to offer reliable and timely test results to guests, visitors and residents of Barbados.
